Attorney Lynne Walder, born in Greenfield, Massachusetts, graduated from the University of Tampa with a Bachelor's degree in business and finance. She earned her Juris Doctorate Degree from the Shepard Broad Law Center, Nova Southeastern University, Davie, Florida.


Attorney Walder is an active member of a number of professional organizations including The Florida Bar Association and the Hillsborough County Bar Association. She was admitted to the State of Florida Supreme Court in 1994, the US District Court (Middle District of Florida) in 1995 and to the United States Supreme Court in 2004. In 1997, Ms. Walder was appointed by the Mayor of Tampa to serve as a hearing officer for the Women/Minority Business Entrepreneur Contract Compliance division and still continues to serve in this capapcity. As part of Attorney Walder's dedication to her community, she has volunteered her time to Disaster Legal Services (a program organized by the Florida Bar) offering legal services, advice, and counseling to hurricane victims at no charge.
